Heritage Wake Forest - New Park Facilities Under Construction

Okay, here are the photos I promised of the new recreational facilities now under construction at Heritage Wake Forest. If you are planning to buy a new home in Heritage, you will REALLY appreciate this facility.

Heritage Wake Forest Park 01

Here’s the sign at the project site.

Heritage Wake Forest Park 06

There will be a good sized pond with paved walking trails, playground equipment, and two areas that look like some kind of dock. One is covered and the other is not. There also looks like a general recreational area being laid out on the other side of the pond.

The new Wake Forest Greenway System will run by the pond and wander throughout the neighborhood.

There are brand new building lots all around this area, as well as new home inventory and homes under construction. You could be an easy walk from your new home to this facility.

New Lots, a Park, and a Pond at Heritage Wake Forest

heritage marqueI was just out at the sales center for Heritage Wake Forest and found out about some exciting new developments. If you’ve always wanted to be in this awesome community and were afraid it might sell out before you were ready, fear not.

In addition to the 121 new construction homes in inventory right now and the 67 re-sale homes, over 200 brand new lots have just been released. Opportunities for new homes for sale in Heritage will be going on for a while.

The other neat thing I found out is there is a brand new park with a very nice pond feature that is just about complete. I drove by it and it will be an really nice park area for the neighborhood. I didn’t have time for photos, but I promise to take some in the next few days and write another article.

What’s the Realtor’s opinion?

I’ve sold in this neighborhood and showed homes here many times. My clients could not have been happier with their choice. The construction quality is very good and the floor plans feature all the things so many buyers are looking for these days, such as open living area, large master suites, and large gourmet kitchens. As previously mentioned, the lots tend to run on the large side with quite a few trees all around.

Wake Forest is a growing community with lots of amenities such as restaurants, shopping, parks, theaters, and more! Give me a call, or email me, if you would like any additional information on this great neighborhood.

Wake Forest Getting New Public Park | Joyner Park

Joyner ParkBack in 2003 the town of Wake Forest purchased 117 acres of farm land on Harris Road, just west of downtown.  Construction will begin early this year on what promises to be a unique destination for local residents.

The park is scheduled to an amphitheater, an outdoor performance space, and a garden area.  The performance area will offer an intimate setting for poetry reading and small symphony groups while the amphitheater will have lawn seating for about 1,000 people.  Plans for the amphitheater include concerts and possibly the home of the popular Six Sundays in Spring concert series.

The project also calls for the restoration of several existing farm buildings.  There will be a stone wall and a log cabin on the grounds as well as three miles of walking trails.

The whole project will be done is several phases. Phase 1 is funded with $750,000 in grants and $3.5 million in bond money.

Heritage Wake Forest

HeritageMarqueSmallDo you want a custom built Wake Forest home in a beautiful golf course community with schools, shopping and restaurants right down the street?  Then Heritage Wake Forest is for you!

Heritage is a well thought out planned development which offers a wide variety of architectural styles and floor plans sure to please just about any taste and budget.  Prices range from townhomes in the $170s to custom estate homes priced up to the $900s with breathtaking views of the golf course.

This neighborhood has been carefully planned and integrated with the surrounding area.  One of the biggest complaints I get from home buyers regarding new construction is how developers tend to cut down all the trees leaving the neighborhood barren and without character.  This is not the case at Heritage.  In the late 1980s the developers actually began planting more than $1 million in trees over a four year period with a clear vision for how the community would look today.

HeritageStreetscape001The list of custom builders in Heritage includes the best of the best with names like Creech, Robuck, Dickerson, Legacy, Tingen, Gaylord, Grady, Clearwater and others.  These builders are active members of the local community with reputations to maintain and uphold.  They each have a vested interest in satisfying each and every customer by delivering what they promise.

GolfCourse001The active lifestyle is alive and well at Heritage.  The centerpiece is the award winning Heritage Golf Club which features beautiful landscaping, meandering creeks and natural, spring fed lakes.  There is also a putting practice green, pro shop and a full service grill.

The Heritage Swim & Tennis Club offers a junior olympic sized pool, a waterslide and lighted tennis courts.  The clubhouse gives members a banquet room and meeting facilities.

Just a mile or two away the Smith Creek Soccer Center and The Factory Sports Complex offer plenty of year round options for your family, including two ice rinks, go-karts, batting cages, dance school, YMCA, martial arts, pottery painting, skateboard park, and a complex of six baseball fields operated by Capital City Baseball.  By the way, there are some great restaurants there too!

Check back often for updates on this great neighborhood.  In the mean time, if you would like more information, just give me a call or fill out the information request form and I’ll get your questions answered as quickly as possible.
